LowPlays Rating
bet365 is an online sportsbook with more than 90 million users worldwide. Bettors are a finicky bunch, so having a customer base of this many people is a testament to how reliable they are. Our favorite aspects are the insane variety of sports and betting markets and their consistency in offering amazing prices. If you find a really cheap price at any other sportsbook, bet365 will likely match it or do one better. And when it comes to live betting and streaming services, they’re second to none. It’s why they’re a top choice for many bettors around the world and why we’re huge fans here at LowPlays.

bet365 Review Overview
This UK-based sportsbook entered the US market fairly recently in 2019 and doesn’t have as much widespread availability as some other big names like DraftKings. However, bet365 is one of the longest-running online sports betting sites in the world. It launched in 2000 and has been delivering amazing online betting solutions to bettors since 2001.
Despite the behemoth status in the industry, bet365 is family-run. This is why they’re highly flexible in offering new and unconventional betting markets and formats like same-game parlays. This operator has all the features you can expect from a modern betting site – Odds Boosts, Early Cash Out, Edit Bet, etc. bet365 is currently available in ten US states. The legit sports betting operator offers top-notch SSL security, too.
bet365 Look & Feel
We scored bet365 sportsbook 10/10
Nowadays, the bet365 betting platform may be considered not modern enough, but it offers that classic simplicity that I believe betting needs. Trust me; you don’t want to have to do practice sets on site navigation before you can begin placing bets. This is a no-frills betting platform with simple font and imagery only where necessary. Green is the main brand color, but there’s a dark background and some white and yellow here and there (it’s secondary brand colors).
Although simplistic, there’s all the information you need right there on the main page, including a clear top-line navigation, a sidebar with all the sports and offerings, a view of odds and markets in the center, and a collapsible bet slip. You’ll really realize how smooth the interface is when you’re over at the in-play section. The site is super responsive, allowing you to capitalize on those valuable odds as soon as you can spot them. This great usability translates just as well on the mobile apps available for Android and iOS users.
bet365 Betting Selection
We scored bet365 sportsbook 10/10
While bet365 looks like a classic sportsbook, this operator offers several out-of-the-box games and betting markets. There are almost 30 sports covered, and the range includes both popular and obscure sports leagues. The NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, and others you can expect are all available. You’ll also find options like handball, darts, and water polo. bet365 is also one of the first to offer legal esports betting. Even the likes of DraftKings and Caesars haven’t begun catering to this option.
The variety of markets accompanying each of these sports is arguably the most appealing part of this sportsbook. bet365 is an expert at offering the most granular props you won’t find elsewhere. They tend to have more lines and the most competitive odds. Typically, they offer the cheapest prices for heavy favorites and lots of value for the less popular sides. Having started out in the European market, there’s a buffet of markets on soccer, cricket, rugby, and other popular European sports.
It’s impossible to review this operator without talking about the live betting service. World class is the only way to describe the real-time game coverage at bet365. All the major sports are available in the dedicated in-play section, and many events will be up for live streaming as well. You can know if this feature is supported on a game if it has a ‘Live Stream’ icon beside it. bet365 live streams are high quality with little to no lag and are free to watch as long as you have a funded account or have placed a bet within the last 24 hours.
bet365 Bonuses & Promotions
We scored bet365 sportsbook 8/10
It’s a good time to sign up as a new player on bet365 because there are not one but two impressive bonuses currently being offered. One’s a risk-free bonus, and the other is a bet & get-style offer.
- First Bet Safety Net of up to $1,000
- Bet $5 Get $150
If you wish to claim the First Bet Safety Net, simply make a $10 deposit. Then place a bet of up to $1,000, and if it loses, you’ll get a refund in bonus bets. The high bonus cap here makes it great for big spenders, although if your bet wins, you won’t get anything from the sportsbook. The bet and get offer has a lower cap, but with this one, you’ll get the bonus regardless of whether your bet wins or loses. The minimum deposit here is also $10, but all you need to wager to activate the bonus bets is $5.
You only get to choose one, so think carefully before you take your pick. In my opinion, there’s definitely a fair balance between both offers, so either one’s a pretty good deal. Just make sure you go through the terms and conditions thoroughly so that you know any odds restrictions, cash out restrictions, etc. For instance, the bet and get bonus requires a qualifying wager on odds of -500 or greater to activate the offer.
Unfortunately, there aren’t too many promotions available for existing customers. There are a few early payout offers on specific sports, and as I mentioned earlier, there are several features like odds boosts, full/partial cashouts, and parlay boosts that certainly add value to your betting experience. However, the lack of reload bonus bets or a loyalty reward leaves you wanting just a bit more.
bet365 Banking
We scored bet365 sportsbook 7/10
There’s a variety of payment methods supported at the bet365 online sportsbook. However, not all methods are available everywhere, and for some states, the options provided are quite limited. For instance, bettors in Ohio can only count on debit/credit cards, bank transfers, and PayPal. On the other hand, New Jersey has the most diverse range of options, including Cash at Cage at the Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Atlantic City.
Here’s the full list of payment methods:
- Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express
- Bank Transfer
- PayPal
- Apple Pay
- Pay Near Me
- Skrill
- Paysafecard
- Cash at Cage (Hard Rock Hotel Casino)
Typically, methods like Paysafecard, Apple Pay, and Pay Near Me don’t support withdrawals, so even if these methods are available for deposits in your jurisdiction, you won’t be able to withdraw with them.
While the banking service is by no means poor, it’s this operator’s weakest link. bet365 doesn’t have a problem paying out small wins, but if you’re a high roller or just someone who wins big amounts regularly, they may limit your account activity. We’re all about finding the best sportsbooks for low rollers here at LowPlays, so this isn’t a major drawback. However, it’s kind of a low-grade tactic for an operator of this caliber, that’s why I’ve only rated it a 7 in this aspect.
bet365 Support
We scored bet365 sportsbook 10/10
Being a beginner is no problem at all when you play at this site, and it’s not just because the site is easy to use. bet365 provides plenty of useful help right there on the platform. Just navigate to the help section, and it opens up a micro site that contains a large amount of information, from how to sign up, info on bonuses, betting, live streaming, payments, etc. Regarding the support offered, bet365 outperforms more than 90% of online sportsbooks out there. They’re also very dedicated to responsible gambling and have a micro site for that as well, where you’ll find safer gambling tools, advice, and professional help.
It’s also straightforward to contact the bet365 team. Options include live chat, email, telephone, and a mailing address. Responses are pretty quick, depending on the method you use. Live chat typically works the fastest and is the best for real-time responses, but the methods were all pretty efficient when I tried them.
LowPlays Verdict
bet365 sportsbook overall score is 9/10
Having over 90 million loyal customers shows that they’re doing something right – multiple things, actually, based on this review. There’s really no aspect that this operator doesn’t do a decent job, and in most areas, it excels. From the range of sports covered, bonuses offered, and payment methods provided to the stability of the platform and quality customer support, bet365 is a standout sportsbook.
We would like to see more versatility in the ongoing promotions, especially when the competition – the likes of BetMGM and DraftKings – are offering consistent freebies and rebates for regular players through their loyalty programs. Fortunately for new bettors, the choice of two different welcome bonuses is a good enough reason to sign up and grab yours.
