Betvictor Review Overview
BetVictor is a long-running name in the sports gambling industry, operating as a Gibraltar licensee since 1946. Owned by a famous racehorse owner Mr. Michael Tabor, this site has quite a few horse racing promotions and is hugely into soccer.
Some of the main draws of BetVictor lie in streamlined betting functionalities, terrific deals for UK punters, and nearly perfect customer support. Other fields fall short of magical, but it’s a decent bookie worth considering, in my humble opinion.
Betvictor Look & Feel
I rated BetVictor UI 7/10
The page-loading times are great, and navigation shouldn’t be an issue since all the core features are neatly organized.
The main problem I have with this bookie is that it was designed with mobile users (exclusively) in mind. As a primarily PC user, I dislike the font sizes, the cropped sidebars, and the fact that I have to zoom in every time I’m looking for anything specific.
Ideal for Mobile Users
Not only is BetVictor’s site fully optimized for mobile users, but it also has native apps for iOS and Android. The one in the Apple App Store specifically has an enviable rating of 4.7/5.0 based on more than 41,000+ reviews.
The Browser Version is Mobile-esque Too
Unfortunately, BetVictor isn’t too eye-catching for non-mobile users. What could’ve been a single page with intuitive fonts, buttons, and shortcuts is now a scrolling adventure where they decided to lump in everything the site has to offer – from sportsbook markets to casino slots, minigames, and even gambling tips.

BetVictor Betting Features
BetVictor earned a high 8 out of 10
BetVictor offers good market coverage, simplified betting functions, a beginner-friendly bet slip, and a few unique points like bet builder boosts. Let’s start with the positives first.
A Solid Market Coverage
What I liked the most about the BetVictor is that it offers a good mix of mainstream sports categories everyone loves like baseball, basketball, American football, and soccer while also dipping into more exotic markets like speedway racing, hurling, and Gaelic sports.
Easy In-Play Betting
Wagering is as simple as clicking on your preferred category and tapping the match. This will reveal all possible outcomes and props, as well as the odds, both regular and boosted ones. I specifically enjoyed that match-specific boosters are already included, saving me the time to wade through dozens of options I’m not interested in.
The bet builder works the same as in any other sports betting site. I just tapped on the selection I wanted to wager on, and it was instantly displayed on the slip, prompting me to place my stake.
Minor Bet Hunting Flaws
What I didn’t like about this segment is that BetVictor won’t show the number of available markets per category, which is something most bookies I’m a member of have done differently.
I imagine this won’t be a major deal-breaker for more seasoned players, but it leaves beginners without the means to pinpoint the trendiest options without wasting time on manual search.
BetVictor Bonuses & Promotions
I rated BetVictor 6/10
BetVictor offers a good selection of bonuses for newcomers and several deals for existing players, but they aren’t exactly stellar when it comes to size.
I love its Spin the Wheel daily promo, somewhat like that free bets from the Loyalty Club rewards have no wagering conditions, and I am completely underwhelmed by the welcome deals.
Disappointing Welcome Bonus
On one hand, there are two mutually exclusive welcome bonuses at BetVictor – the first offers free bets up to £20 on horse racing markets while the second offers up to £40 on football markets. What about players who love basketball or tennis?
Sadly, these promotions can only be activated with debit card or Apple Pay deposits; their minimum deposit required to activate either of these bonuses is £10, which is twice as much compared to the usual minimum deposit.
The only silver lining here is that you’ll have a full week to fulfill the relatively simple wagering requirements – place £10 on horse racing selections with odds of at least 1.0, or bet £10 on football markets with odds of at least 2.0.
Terrific Spin the Wheel
I’m always up for no deposit bonuses, and one of BetVictor’s prime offerings is the daily Spin the Wheel bonus.
This promotion is exclusively available to UK locals and offers a host of free bets, bet insurance, and free spin prizes ranging from £1 to £10. To top it all, there are no wagering requirements to worry about.
Good Loyalty Club Rewards
What BetVictor brands as its Loyalty Club can better be described as a Sunday Mystery Bonus. Namely, users need to place 5 individual £5 wagers (with odds of at least 1.5) to qualify for a “Box”, which contains a free bet prize ranging from £1 to £25.
As for the negatives, this “bonus” has a 100% max cashout rate, meaning that you can only withdraw as much as you’ve staked to trigger it.
Betvictor Banking
I rated BetVictor’s banking system 7/10
In short, BetVictor’s banking system is neither overly impressive nor underwhelming.
Namely, the most popular ones are credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Trustly, Neteller, Skrill, PaySafeCard, and Bank Transfer, although the site’s terms indicate that the availability of methods varies from country to country.
No points were deducted from BetVictor’s banking score for its lack of support for credit card payments – UKGC made it clear that locals can’t use this payment method, but if you’re gambling from abroad, this option is available. This is especially important if your bank supports the coveted FastFunds function, which can shave off hours of the estimated payout time.
No Fees for UK Players
UK gamblers won’t have to pay any fees, from BetVictor’s side at least, while foreign players are looking not only at fees but also at longer payout timeframes.
Mandatory 1-day Processing Check
Like most legit bookies, BetVictor has a 24-hour payment processing check for withdrawals, which basically means that you’ll have to wait an entire day before the “cashout timer” even starts.
When I sent my first withdrawal request with Trustly, the money was reflected in my account the next day. I was warmly surprised that their online banking system was a bit faster than average since I waited a little under three days for my second withdrawal.
Heaven for Low-budget Players
Low-rollers seem to love this online sportsbook, as the minimum deposit limit for most payment methods is just £5 (or its equivalent in other currencies). Sadly, some methods like PaySafe, Neteller, and Skrill have a slightly higher minimum of £10.
Betvictor Support
I rated it BetVictor 9/10
BetVictor has done a good job with its customer support segment, offering a comprehensive Help Centre, a live chat feature, and a team of experts ready to answer your emails.
Basic Live Chat
The Live Chat feature is accessible to everyone, regardless of whether you’re a registered customer or not. It’s simple but effective, allowing you to send a message after typing your name and email; the bot will reply within a few minutes or direct you to other support channels if your topic is too difficult.
Excellent Help Centre
You can find out virtually everything about BetVictor by visiting its Help Centre page. It’s filled with hundreds of concise articles and contains resources touching on topics like payments, promos, account verification, sports betting, and more. Similar to the live chat, it’s super straightforward to use.
Speedy Email Responses
I had a bit of trouble with my first set of free bets, so I decided to contact BetVictor’s email support team at help@betvictor.com before testing its other support channels. I received a response within an hour, and it didn’t read like an automated reply.
Even though both the live chat and help centre features are good, I recommend contacting their live agents like I did if you’re facing a complex issue.
Lowplays Verdict
BetVictor overall score is 7.4/10
BetVictor is an excellent spot for UK low rollers, mainly because the free Spin the Wheel is one of the best recurring no deposit bonuses in the current market.
Overall, I tested the site and feel like it excels in several fields. Its customer support is quite good, and its welcome bonuses are terrific for horse racing and soccer fans. Everything else leaves ample room for improvement.
