LowPlays Rating
Caesars Sportsbook, the focus of this review, is a brand that hardly needs any introduction. Its experience, expertise, and trustworthiness in the online gambling industry have been recognized worldwide for a very long time. Therefore, it is no surprise that the ability to offer online sports betting, too, has made this giant force in the industry even more of a standout. Caesars also deserves kudos for consistency. In every LowPlays rating category, we give it at least an 8.

Caesars Sportsbook Review Overview
Among the many factors to consider in choosing an online sportsbook, longevity and reputation should be high on your list, and these are categories in which Caesars excels. Long before sports betting became a legal option in most states, Caesars has been offering land-based and online casino gambling, so it had plenty of relevant experience when Caesars Sportsbook debuted in September 2018.
Caesars Sportsbook is now one of the largest online and mobile gambling operators in the country, offering legal sports betting in 23 states plus Washington, DC. Besides covering virtually every sports betting market available to US bettors and an extensive menu of betting options, including prop bets and same game parlays, Caesars’ multi-tiered loyalty rewards program is second to none. Everyone from VIPs down to the smallest players automatically becomes a Caesars Rewards member and earns both Rewards Credits and Tier Credits for all of their activity at any Caesars Rewards location.
If you are new to sports betting, no problem because the website and mobile app are user-friendly enough for beginners. Given all that Caesars has to offer, this is a betting site that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a reputable and reliable place to bet online.
Caesars Sportsbook Look and Feel
We scored Caesars Sportsbook 9/10
While the Caesars Sportsbook website and mobile app could be more attractive aesthetically, what is far more important to sports bettors is being able to find the games and betting odds that interest them quickly and easily. This is something that Caesars handles very well.
The left side of the screen lists all 19 sports for which Caesars offers bets in alphabetical order. Then, simply click on the + sign next to the sport that interests you for the various leagues being offered. For example, in Baseball, you can choose from MLB, NCAA Baseball, NPB, and South Korean KBO. The most popular sports are also listed at the top of the screen along with other headings you might want to check, including Live (games in progress) and Boosts (select wagers offering better odds than usual).
The center of the screen is where the odds are displayed. You can either scroll down the page to see the spread, moneyline, and total for all of the upcoming or in-progress games in a given sports league or click on a specific game to view additional betting options.
The right side of the screen contains the bet slip. If math isn’t your forte, no worries since each wager’s odds and cost and the total payout are clearly shown. Other helpful features are the Promotions and Support tabs prominently displayed at the top of the screen.
In summary, this is a betting site that is sufficiently user-friendly for beginners. The superior quality of the mobile app is reflected in the latest published user ratings. The average user rating of 4.7 for the iOS app and 4.3 for the Android app, as reported on the App Store and Google Play Store, respectively, indicate that the vast majority of users are pleased with the performance.
Caesars Sportsbook Betting Selection
We scored Caesars Sportsbook 8/10
Caesars does an excellent job of covering not only the most popular sports you can bet on but also many other sports, 19 in all, which should be more than sufficient for most bettors. However, some betting markets such as cornhole, handball, jai alai, snooker, volleyball, and water polo, all of which are available at DraftKings, are absent.
More importantly, Caesars’ odds often tend to be not the most competitive. This is true not only for live betting but also for upcoming games. For example, as game time approaches, Caesars frequently changes the point spread and over/under lines on popular sides from the customary -110 to -115.
In addition, Caesars’ boosted odds options are limited and are usually confined to hard-to-win same game parlays.
Caesars Sportsbook Bonuses and Promotions
We scored Caesars Sportsbook 9/10
Like most major online sportsbooks, Caesars has an attractive-sounding welcome bonus to encourage new players to join. The Caesars Sportsbook welcome bonus for first-time users is as follows:
- If your first real money bet loses, Caesars will credit your account with a bonus bet in the same amount up to $1,000. You then have up to 14 days to use the bonus bet. If that bet wins, you will be paid the winnings from the bet but not the bonus money used to place the bet.
High rollers like this offer because of the high cap that Caesars is willing to cover. Small bettors like the offer, too, because they can bet as little as $10, and if they lose, the bonus bet gives them a second chance. However, players who win their first bet forfeit the bonus bet and get nothing extra from the sportsbook.
Caesars also offers bonuses and promotions for existing customers. While the Caesars Refer A Friend bonus offer is ongoing, most of the other promotions are for a limited time only. These promotions are usually sport-specific and take the form of a same game parlay profit boost.
We would like to see a less aggressive promotion of same game parlays and a wider variety of other promotions such as deposit matches, leaderboard contests, and prize drawings. However, Caesars still deserves a 9/10 rating in Bonuses and Promotions for its superior loyalty rewards program, Caesars Rewards.
All real money bets at Caesars Sportsbook count toward earning both Reward Credits and Tier Credits. Reward credits can be accumulated and either converted into bet credits or used as comp dollars at any Caesars Entertainment property. Tier credits determine which of the six tiers you belong to; the higher your tier level, the more special benefits and privileges you receive.
Caesars Sportsbook Banking
We scored Caesars Sportsbook 9/10
The best online sportsbooks offer a wide enough variety of banking methods to meet most customers’ needs and preferences, and Caesars does that very well. Not every method is available in every state, but in many states where Caesars Sportsbook operates, players can choose any of the following deposit options:
- Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit and debit cards
- eChecks (ACH)
- Online Banking
- Caesars Play+ Card
- PayPal
- Venmo
- Apple Pay
- PayNearMe
- Cash at the retail sportsbook (select states only)
Most deposit methods can also be used for withdrawal. However, three exceptions are credit cards, Apple Pay, and PayNearMe. In states where these options are permitted, they can only be used for deposits.
Caesars charges no fees for either deposits or withdrawals although there might be bank or third party fees. The minimum deposit is $10, and the minimum withdrawal is only $1. The maximum varies with the method. While deposits are credited instantly, withdrawal processing time can vary from the same day to several business days.
All in all, Caesars rates very high marks in the banking category. Our one criticism is that the sportsbook’s information is too lengthy and hard to follow. A table clearly stating each method with the available states, minimum and maximum amounts, and average processing times for withdrawals would be better.
Caesars Sportsbook Support
We scored Caesars Sportsbook 9/10
Caesars is one of the few online sportsbooks that offer customer support by phone. Or, if the customer prefers, support is also available via Online Help (FAQs on various topics), live chat, or email.
However, it is great that the phone option is available as an alternative. The FAQ section cannot possibly cover every question or concern that may arise, and for complex issues, live chat can be hit or miss, and the response to email queries could be delayed.
The reason why Caesars gets a 9 for Support rather than a 10 is mixed reviews from users regarding the quality and speed of the support they received.
LowPlays Verdict
Caesars Sportsbook overall score is 8.8/10
Whether you are an experienced sports bettor or just starting, Caesars is a betting site you can count on to offer the sports and games you want to bet on and the types of bets you want to make quickly and easily. Getting money in and out of your account is also quick and easy. The bonuses and promotions and Caesars Rewards loyalty program are the icing on the cake.
