LowPlays Rating
Fliff is a social sportsbook where bettors from 45 U.S. states can make free predictions on various sports events. It offers competitive odds (compared to other social books) and a good mix of markets, including creative player props on major sports. I really dig the social elements, particularly challenges and leaderboard contests. You can showcase your betting skills, earn coins and XP, and redeem them for cash prizes.
Get up to $100 in bonus money when you join, plus daily odds boosts if you play regularly. Even if you live in a state that allows traditional sports betting, you should add Fliff to your sportsbook list — if only for the freebies you can harvest.

Fliff Review Overview
The social betting scene is blowing up in the U.S., and Fliff is riding the wave. The operator is a pioneer in the social betting niche, having launched in 2019.
A background check on Fliff turned up nothing shady. It’s a legit sportsbook founded by Matt Ricci, a Johns Hopkins statistician, and two other individuals. The company is based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
The fact that Fliff is transparent about its operations indicates it is not a fly-by-night enterprise. Another strong credibility point is their native apps — neither Google nor Apple would associate with sketchy entities. And on that note, both iOS and Android apps are well-received, with ratings of 4.8 and 4.6, respectively.
Fliff uses two types of currency: Fliff Coins (for play only) and Fliff Cash (redeemable for real prizes). What’s really dope — and unprecedented among sweepstakes platforms — is that you can convert Fliff Coins to Fliff Cash at a rate of 1,000 Fliff Coins = 0.10 Fliff Cash.
Fliff’s weekly leaderboards and contests are another highlight. If you enjoy some friendly rivalry, these will get your competitive juices flowing. Hit more picks than the others, and you’ll rack up tons of coins and XP, which you can use to get gift cards. Plus, you can earn XP by completing challenges and other tasks.
Apart from that, Fliff has a solid market depth with a nice variety of prop bets for all the major sports. I appreciate that they’ve incorporated features like cashout, which you’d expect at real-money books but not so much on social betting sites. On the flip side, it would be great if they added live streaming to this mix.
Fliff Look & Feel
We scored Fliff 8/10
I’ll be honest from the get-go — I’m not a fan of Fliff’s mobile-only approach. I know most betting happens on the go, but having the option of a desktop platform would be great, too.
That said, Fliff’s mobile apps are fantastic, especially the iOS version. While the design is up for debate, personally, I’m not a fan of the visually taxing navy-blue and lavender color palette; other people may like it. Interestingly, Sportzino, another top social sportsbook, uses a similar color scheme, so it might be a trend in this space.
More importantly, Fliff crushes it when it comes to functionality. The bottom ribbon provides easy access to important sections like sports, your account, XP rewards, and the cashier. The top sidebar has buttons for in-play, odds boosts, and sports listings.
I thought the lack of a hamburger menu would complicate navigation, but it’s actually easy to explore the site. The bet slip sits quietly in the bottom right corner until you need it, saving screen space.
The apps are really fast, whether you’re switching between different markets or jumping from one sport to another.
One minor gripe I have is with data density, as the apps can only show a max of three different games at once. Personally, I wish they used the space more efficiently to fit at least one more game.
Fliff Betting Selection
We scored Fliff 8/10
Fliff covers 9 sports, which is way less than what other books offer. For context, real-money betting sites cover around 20 sports, and Sportzino, a direct competitor in the social sportsbook space, covers over 40. There is no doubt that Fliff is significantly behind.
That said, they do have lines for the Big 4 leagues and other popular sports like tennis, golf, lacrosse, soccer, and boxing. Unless you’re a niche sports fan, you probably won’t even notice anything’s missing.
The market variety is solid, with a good range of betting options per sport. Aside from the basics like moneylines, totals, and spreads, Fliff offers some cool prop bets such as:
- QB with the most passing yards in the NFL
- Player to score the first TD in the Super Bowl
- Will the game go to OT (NBA game props)
- Over/under strikeouts for starting pitchers in the MLB
- Both teams to score props in the NHL
The lack of futures bets is a notable shortcoming and a big blow for bettors who like the prospect of long-term action.
There’s also room for improvement in competition coverage. For example, for football, they only offer CFL and NFL. Meanwhile, basketball mainly focuses on the NBA, and there are only a dozen soccer competitions available.
Fliff Bonuses & Promotions
We scored Fliff 9/10
Fliff offers great incentives for both new and regular players.
When you sign up, you’ll receive 5,000 Fliff Coins and 1 Fliff Cash as a welcome bonus. On top of that, new users get a 100% match on their first coin purchase, up to $100 in Fliff Cash. So, if you buy a $4.99 package with 25,000 Fliff Coins and $5 in Fliff Cash, the sign-up offer doubles that to 50,000 coins and $10 in Fliff Cash. To max out the intro promo, go for the $99.99 package.
Once you burn through that stash, there are other promotions to farm free coins:
- Daily bonus: You get 5k Fliff Coins just by logging in to your account every day.
- Hourly bonus: Every 2 hours, you can collect 1k Fliff Coins and 0.10 Fliff Cash by selecting the Shop page.
- Social media contests: Fliff hosts giveaways on their social media platforms (X, Facebook, IG) that may require sharing posts or answering game-related questions to enter.
- Mail-in bonus: Send snail mail to Fliff following the instructions on their sweepstakes rules page to get 10 free Fliff Cash.
- Referral: Earn 100 XP every time a friend you refer spends $5 on the site.
- Experience Points: You earn 1 XP for every 1,000 Fliff Coins you spend on sports predictions. You can also get XP through leaderboards and completing challenges. You can redeem earned XP to purchase Fliff Cash or digital gift cards from brands like Airbnb, Uber, and more.
- Odds boosts: Fliff sometimes supercharges odds on select markets, and these bets can provide real value. What I like is that they’re not just puffing up odds boosts on longshot parlays that hit once in a blue moon. Instead, they focus on more achievable bets, typically in the +250 range.
Fliff Banking
We scored Fliff 7/10
Fliff supports four banking options for getting coins into and out of your account. While they cover the mainstream options, it would be great to see some e-wallets included as well.
You can complete your purchase using:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Bank transfer
You don’t have to spend money to play since you get free coins periodically. But if you don’t feel like waiting for a free top-up or just want to go bigger, select the Shop button. There, you’ll find six different coin packages available, ranging from $1 to $99.99.
Any Fliff Cash obtained through promotions or included in purchase packages must be played through once before it becomes redeemable. Once you accumulate at least 50 of this “cleared” Fliff Cash, you can redeem it for real prizes at a rate of $1 = 1 Fliff Cash.
Fliff Support
We scored Fliff 8.5/10
The customer support at Fliff has been pretty efficient based on my experience, but I’d wish they offered immediate assistance via live chat. Right now, their contact channels are the on-site ticket system and email at support@getfliff.com. They also have a dedicated X account (Twitter) for support, but it’s not the fastest way to resolve issues.
LowPlays Verdict
Fliff overall score 8/10
Fliff is one of the top social sportsbooks in the U.S., even though there’s not a ton of competition in this space. It would be unfair to evaluate it against standard books because they’re essentially different species.
When compared to other social betting sites (Rebet, Thrillzz, Sportzino, and Kickr), though, Fliff stacks up well. The 40-cent lines for spreads and 30-cent lines for totals are competitive, and you can rack up a lot of free coins through their promotions. The XP system gives bettors something to strive for beyond just bragging rights. Fliff’s market variety is solid, but there’s definitely room to grow. It would also be great if they added live chat support and a few more banking options. Overall, if you’re on the lookout for a new social sportsbook, Fliff is a solid choice.
