LowPlays Rating
When an online bookmaker that accepts only three payment methods and has only recently started covering horse racing tries to spar with the big boys, it usually seems like a tall order. That is unless it has an exceptional ace up its sleeve. In this case, the ace comes as a combo of an incredible selection of eSports markets and a few other things you might fancy. Thus, stick with me until the end of this review, and you will find out all about them and see why I picked Midnite for my Dota 2 betting adventures.

Midnite Review Overview
Midnite is a new kid on the sports betting block trying to build a new era of wagering. While building a new era of wagering might seem like a long shot, we cannot deny their efforts to create a playground for a new generation of punters looking to connect their love of video games with the thrill of winning money.
On the flip side, if you are seeking the cozy embrace of a traditional bookmaker offering a long list of banking methods, a busy promotions tab, and lightning-fast withdrawals, you might need to look elsewhere.
Midnite Look & Feel
We scored Midnite 9/10
In today’s era, dark themes reign supreme in the world of graphic and web design, and as a “dark theme merchant” myself, I was pleasantly surprised by the aesthetic of Midnite.
Midnite’s top target demographic is clearly eSports enthusiasts, which is quite evident from the overall design of the webpage. Navigating through it feels akin to browsing the Steam library, pondering which game to dive into next.
Although the page radiates that gaming aesthetic, the layout is nothing that you have not already seen at any other respectable online bookmaker. The design is intuitive and user-friendly, and the dark color scheme provides visual relief that comes in handy, especially after browsing through the hundreds of betting markets.
Two aspects caught me off guard, though. The absence of a classic Promotions tab and the representation of teams solely by their colours rather than their official crests.
This evoked a sense of nostalgia and took me back to the glory days of Pro Evolution Soccer when Adriano was king and club licenses were nowhere to be seen.
Midnite Betting Markets
We scored Midnite 8/10
For eSports, Midnite is king. Though other bookies step over it in other betting markets. Here are the features I enjoyed the most during my review.
Bet Builder
Midnite’s biggest flex is having one of the most user-friendly betting platforms, and its bet builder option is a prime example of its intuitiveness.
To activate the bet builder feature at Midnite, pick your market and switch on the bet builder button. Once activated, you will be in Build Mode, so a new list of selections will appear on the screen, allowing you to fire away with your picks.
While there is no limit on the number of picks you can make, keep in mind that, unlike accumulators, bet builders are exclusively for picks within one match.
Cash Out
You’ve probably heard the saying, “It ain’t over till the fat lady sings.” However, when it comes to particular matches and markets, there is a feature that begs to differ.
Like in any other bookmaker, the Cash Out feature at Midnite gives you the power to cash in on your bets before the final whistle. Making it your chance to secure your winnings or cut some losses as the odds sway in or against your favor.
The Cash Out at Midnite is available for pre-game, live, outright, and multiple bets on selected matches, and the Cash Out values do not include the stake part of a free bet.
While Cash Out can be a game-changing feature, try to not lean on it too heavily because although it can be handy at times, you cannot count on it being there whenever you need it.
In-Play Betting
The In-Play section at Midnite certainly cannot go head-to-head with the ones at the top UK online bookmakers. However, if you are into eSports, you will quickly learn that Midnite might become your go-to place for placing live bets on eSports events for more than 10 video games.
Live Streaming
Let’s be clear: one should not count on Midnite to stream the biggest football derbies or other popular sports events, for that matter. However, a quick visit to the eSports section will show you that you are a click away from streaming all the most popular eSports teams from all over the globe.
The streaming of eSports is facilitated through the integrated Twitch player, and my experience with it was nothing short of seamless.
Midnite Bonuses & Promotions
We scored Midnite 6/10
Bonuses and promotions are what bookmakers use to draw punters to their websites. However, that is not the case with Midnite.
Although Midnite offers various incentives to its users, the promotions section lags far behind those found at the best UK betting sites.
Welcome Bonus
If you are a new customer from the UK, you can grab a sweet Bet £10 get £25 deal that will surely start to feel sour as you continue reading through the requirements.
To qualify for the welcome offer at Midnite, you must deposit at least £10 and place them on an Acca bet with at least four selections at total odds of at least 3/1.
The £25 reward is divided into 4x £5 Free Bet vouchers and 50 Free Spins valued at 10p per spin, which you can use on the Big Bass Splash slot at the Midnite casino. Each Free Bet voucher has its own terms and requirements.
Daily Scratchcard
Punters from the UK & Ireland who have made at least one deposit can enjoy the daily scratchcard at Midnite. This is a simple game – click on your Daily Scratchcard and match three symbols to win a prize.
Additionally, if you scratch for six consecutive days, you will unlock the Mega Scratchcard, which offers better prizes. What a clever tactic to keep you logging in daily.
Weekly Rewards
At Midnite, the Rewards section is divided into three clubs, each requiring qualification for a weekly reward.
To qualify for the Bet Club, you must place at least 5 winning single bets worth at least £5 at odds no less than 1/1 (2.0). Qualifying for the Bet Club will get you a £5 Free Bet that you can use on any market except horse racing.
To qualify for the Acca Club, you must place at least two £10 accumulator bets with at least 4 legs and combined odds no lower than 4/1. If you manage to do so, you will get a £10 Free Bet to use on one accumulator with 4+ legs at minimum total odds of 4/1.
Last but not least, to qualify for the Bet Builder Club, you must place at least one £10 Bet Builder at odds no lower than 3/1. The reward is a complimentary £5 Bet Builder, perfect for those thrilling Premier League weekends.
Midnite Banking
We scored Midnite 5/10
There’s no denying PayPal’s popularity as one of the go-to banking methods online, especially for bettors looking for a quick way to fund their betting accounts. However, relying solely on PayPal and two other options for deposits and withdrawals simply won’t cut it in today’s online sports betting scene.
Midnite currently allows deposits and withdrawals through PayPal, Trustly, and debit cards issued by Visa and Mastercard. Besides the absence of some highly-embraced payment methods such as Apple Pay, Paysafecard, and Skrill, what the Midnite punters will hate the most is the inability to deposit with cryptocurrencies, which seem to be gaining massive popularity, especially among eSports enthusiasts.
Now that I’m over with my fair share of criticism, let’s look at the available payment methods, their processing times, and minimum limits.
Payment Method | Min. Deposit | Min. Withdrawal | Payout Processing Times |
Visa | £5 | £5 | 1-5 Business days |
Mastercard | £5 | £5 | 1-5 Business days |
PayPal | £5 | £5 | 1-5 Business days |
Trustly | £5 | £5 | 1-5 Business days |
All payments are fee-free, and deposits at Midnite are processed instantly.
Midnite Support
We scored Midnite 8/10
Unlike the banking section, the customer support at Midnite is right on par with industry standards. Besides the classic email route, punters at Midnite can engage with a support agent via Live Chat or even slide into their Telegram DMs. Both channels are open 24/7, and if you are feeling truly nostalgic, you can even dust off your quill and parchment and send them a letter.
Despite having numerous questions about various aspects, I never had to contact a customer service representative since the Help Center had answers for everything I needed. The Help Centre is where I also came across the Midnite Academy, where I discovered a Dota 2 betting guide that kickstarted my eSports betting quest.
LowPlays Verdict
Midnite overall score is 7.2/10
With their intuitive platform crafted to meet the demands of the younger population and one of the best offers for eSports betting currently available on the market, the people at Midnite are on their way to building the next UK eSports betting hub – also known as the place where I made 20 quid betting on Rocket League.
Since its launch in 2019, Midnite has made strides with expanded sports coverage, the introduction of its online casino, and the recent inclusion of horse racing. While these moves show initiative in establishing a foothold in the UK gambling market, let’s just say they’ve still got some laps to run.
